Schools/Nonprofits Invited to Host Volunteers for Summer Service Projects

Volunteer Hosting Opportunities are available for New Orleans schools and nonprofits during the upcoming Lutheran Youth Conference (LCMS) in July! Approximately 11,000 Lutheran volunteers will be in town for their conference, and they are eager to participate in service projects at schools and other nonprofits throughout the city.

Event: LCMS Youth Gathering 2016 Volunteer Service Days: July 17th – 19th Time: 8:30a – 11:30a, or 9:00a – Noon Volunteers: 4,000 per day Volunteer ages: 14 – 19

If you are interested in hosting volunteers, please click here to access the Registration Form. We encourage you to host volunteers all 3 days if you have the capacity, but it is not required. Your organization will receive $10 per volunteer, per day. We ask that you host a minimum of 45 volunteers (one bus load). Also, please note that the project will be mornings only. 

The deadline to register is May 15, and the deadline for project submission is June 1. Register now.
