Why did you choose to serve on your school’s board? I felt compelled to offer my services in response to a newspaper advertisement. With 20+ years of experience in school district finance and accounting, 10 of which were at the helm of OPSB’s Finance Department, I felt I brought a unique set of skills to ACSA.
How did you become involved with your school? Interacting with local schools was a huge part of community outreach programs of other civic organizations I am involved with.
What leadership roles have you held while serving on the board? I serve as Treasurer and Chairman of the Board’s Finance Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee.
