Why did you choose to serve on your school’s board? I believe the community has a great responsibility to give back to the community. I have 2 small children and I understand what it takes to educate our youth. I see how committed the leadership is. For that reason, it was an easy decision to volunteer my time.
How did you become involved with your school? A colleague who is already on the board reached out to me.
What leadership roles have you had while serving on the board? It is a new role for me. I am working on a collaborative strategic plan towards fundraising.
How can people help your school if they are interested? Volunteering their time. Reaching out to a faculty member or board member to express interest.
