The Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates with funding from school membership dues, grants from foundations and corporations, and individual donations.
Over the past 14 years, LAPCS has:
- Spent over 12,000 hours at the Louisiana Capital advocating for our member schools and families.
- Spent more than 1,200 hours at BESE meetings advocating for policies that focus on creating and preserving access to quality charter schools.
- Trained 149 Charter Board Fellows to serve as the next generation of leaders on Greater New Orleans and Baton Rouge area charter school boards.
- Hosted 30+ statewide trainings on finance, operations, HR and employment law, facilities, technology, and much more. Over 1,100 school level staff have participated, earning more than 300 hours of continuing education credits.
LAPCS realizes there is no end to the work of advancing equity and educational access for Louisiana students. Your gift is instrumental in helping us meet this vital mission.
