Like all public schools, charters throughout Louisiana have a deep commitment to putting students first. Charter public schools see the individual greatness of every student and design curriculum and culture to meet every student’s academic and life goals.

Charter schools are public schools and must meet the needs of all enrolled students, including those with disabilities and English language learners. In order to ensure equitable access to educational opportunity, charter schools must enroll students via a lottery system if more students apply than seats available. No student may be discriminated against in accordance with state and federal laws.
