2015 CSP Grants Competition for Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools

The 2015 Charter Schools Program (CSP) Grants Competition for Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools is designed to assist non-profit charter management organizations, and other entities that are not for-profit entities, in replicating or expanding high-quality charter schools with demonstrated records of success. Applicants must have experience operating more than one high-quality charter school. In 2015, the Department plans to use up to $40,000,000 for this competition, and estimates making between 19 and 25 awards (the Department is not bound by any estimates).

Applications are due by July 15, 2015, at 4:30:00 p.m. (Washington DC time), and must be submitted through Applicants must register at prior to submitting an application. NewSchools Catapult

Phase 1 Deadline: August 14, 2015

New Schools Venture Fund is looking for teams planning to launch a new school in 2016 to apply to NewSchools Catapult, a new program that aims to propel successive waves of education entrepreneurs to launch new schools.The program's focus is on schools that serve significant numbers of underserved students in grades PreK-12 and will be operated by (a) early-stage charter networks for which this would be their first or second school or (b) district-operated schools with sufficient autonomy and support to realize their vision. Teams selected for the program will receive financial support and ongoing assistance.
